We started the Internet Disc Shop to help proliferate disc sports around the world and to build a socially aware business founded on the principles of integrity and exemplary customer service.
The Disc Shop was started in 1994 as a web site where college and club teams could sell Ultimate discs to raise money. It was just a volunteer service at the time, but it was obvious that there was a strong market for internet-based disc sales since quality Ultimate discs weren't available in many places around the world.
In 1999, the Internet Disc Shop was incorporated as a Washington State business, and we redesigned our web site and began selling custom Ultimate discs...both original designs and a few designed by others.
